What makes a sequence an arithmetic sequence?

Practice makes perfect
When a sequence is arithmetic, the difference between two consecutive terms is constant. By examining our sequence, we can see that this is not the case.

-9 +( - 8) âź¶ -17 +( - 9) âź¶ -26 +( - 7) âź¶ -33 âź¶ ... Therefore, the sequence is not arithmetic.
