Draw the lines on the same coordinate plane and determine their point of intersection.

One way to find the point of intersection of the given lines is to graph both lines on the same coordinate plane. Since the equation of the first line is y=3, its graph will be a horizontal line.

The graph of the second line will be a vertical line because its equation is x=-1.

We can see that the lines intersect at (-1,3).
