In order to translate the given sentence into an equation, we need to look at each of the key phrases. From the last part of the sentence, ...is 1, we know that something should be equal to 1. ...=1

The phrase that comes before is 1 tells us what should be on the left-hand side of the equation. The product of 9 and the sum tells us that we will be multiplying some sum by 9. 9(...+...)=1 The sum of 6 and x means that we should be multiplying the 9 by the sum of 6 and x.
