We want to use a table to solve the given equation.

3t-(-5.4)=5.4 In order to choose a good starting point for our table, let's pretend that the equation is 3t=5.4. What multiplied by 3 would get us close to 5.4? 2 would be valid, so it will be our starting point.

0 3 (0)-(-5.4) 5.4

We can see that t=0 is the solution to our equation.
