How can the height help you find the volume of a prism?

Generally, to find the volume of a prism we use a formula that relates the prism's height h and its base area B. V=Bh From the figure, we are given the volume V= 1323cm^3 and the base area B= 147cm^2 of a prism. By substituting these values into our equation, we will be able to use inverse operations to determine the value of h.
V=Bh
1323= 147* h
1323/147=147h/147
9=h
h=9
The height of this prism is 9cm.
