To determine the distance between two points, we use the Distance Formula. The coordinates of the given points are A(2,3) and B(5,7).
AB = sqrt((x_2-x_1)^2 + (y_2-y_1)^2)
AB=sqrt(( 5- 2)^2+( 7- 3)^2)
AB=sqrt(3^2+4^2)
AB=sqrt(9+16)
AB=sqrt(25)
AB=5
The distance between A and B is 5.
