We want to find the measures of the numbered angles. Let's take a look at the given figure.

We can see that ∠ 6 and the 61^(∘) angle are formed on opposite sides of the point of intersection of two lines. This means that they are vertical angles. Vertical angles are congruent. Because of that, ∠ 6 and the 61^(∘) angle are congruent. Congruent angles have the same measure, so the measure of ∠ 6 is 61^(∘).

Next, note that the 61^(∘) angle and ∠ 7 form a straight line.

These angles are supplementary so the sum of their measures is 180^(∘). With this information, we can find the measure of ∠ 7. ∠ 7+ 61^(∘)=180^(∘) ⇕ ∠ 7= 119^(∘) The measure of ∠ 7 is 119^(∘). Let's now find the measure of ∠ 5. Because ∠ 5 and ∠ 7 are vertical angles, they are congruent. Congruent angles have the same measure, so the measure of ∠ 5 is also 119^(∘).
