Exercise 1 Page 524

What do the words "perpendicular" and "bisector" mean?

First Word: middle
Second Word: 90^(∘)

Practice makes perfect

A bisector is a line that cuts something in half. Therefore, the first missing word has to be middle. To find the second word we have to consider the word "perpendicular." Two perpendicular lines create a right angle at their point of intersection. Therefore, the second missing word has to be 90^(∘).
