Their are two types of statements, one telling us a couple of sides are perpendicular, and another telling us that there are two pairs of congruent sides.

Practice makes perfect
The first two statements tell us the sides LM and MN are perpendicular as are ST and TU.

We also know that LM≅ ST which tells us that two of the triangles legs are congruent. Additionally, we know that LN≅ SU which means the hypotenuses are congruent.
