Notice that the two triangles share a side, BC, so by the Reflexive Property of Congruence, we can claim that these sides are corresponding. Let's show this in the diagram.

According to the HL Congruence Theorem, if the hypotenuse and a leg of a right triangle are congruent to the hypotenuse and a leg of a second right triangle, then the two triangles are congruent. Therefore, we can claim that these triangles are congruent.
