∠ BCG and ∠ CJH are consecutive interior angles

Two angles are consecutive interior angles when they lie between the two lines and on the same side of the transversal. Let's see what happens when EB is the transversal.

In this case, ∠ BCG cannot be a consecutive interior angle because it lies on the outside outside of the line. Now let's imagine that AG is the transversal.

This is ∠ BCG is between the two lines. This means that ∠ CJH will be consecutive interior angles with ∠ BCG because they are between the lines and on the same side of the transversal.
