We can solve inequalities in almost the same way as equations. The only difference is that we need to remember to flip the inequality sign when multiplying or dividing by a negative value. For this exercise, we distribute 3 on the left-hand side and simplify the terms to isolate k.

3k-15+9k≥-3
12k-15≥-3
12k≥ 12
k≥1
The solution set of the inequality includes all values of k such that k ≥ 1.
