Practice makes perfect
There are 15 games in the season of the high school soccer team. We are told that this team wants to win 75 % of their games. Let's multiply the decimal form of 0.75 by 15 to find how many games it is.

0.75* 15=11.25 The team has already won 5 games in the first three weeks. Let's subtract this number to find how many more games they need to win. 11.25-5=6.25 The number we got is not an integer. Since the team cannot win 0.25 of a game, we need to round this number up. The team wants to win at least 75 % of their games, so we will round up 6.25 to 7. Therefore, the team must win 7 more games.
