To draw the image of a figure under a dilation with center S and the scale factor k, we need to follow a few steps.
We will begin by drawing the rays from S through each vertex. Let's also name the remaining vertices A, B, C, and D.
The given scale factor is k= 52. Let's locate A' on SA such that SA' = 52 SA. To do this, we measure SA first. Then, after multiplying SA by 52, we get the length of SA'. We locate point A' by measuring this length from S along SA.
We can locate B' on SB, C' on SC, and D' on SD in the same way we located A' in Step 2.
