Note that in Quadrant II and in Quadrant IV, the x- and y-values have opposite signs. Therefore, to satisfy the required condition, the solutions to the system of inequalities must lie in either Quadrant II or IV. Consider the following system. x<0 & (I) y>0 & (II) Let's graph the system!
