What is the direction of the translation?

AB to A'B' is not a glide reflection, see solution.

From the figure, we notice that AB is being translated 2 units to the left and 3 units up.

To do a glide reflection, the line of reflection must be parallel to the direction of the translation. But as we can see from the figure, A'B' is reflected in the y-axis which is a vertical line.

Therefore, this cannot be a glide reflection. To correct the statement, we should write AB to A'B' is not a glide reflection.
