We can immediately rule out a reflection in the y-axis as this would bring an image left of the y-axis if the preimage is right of the y-axis. However, it could be a reflection in the x-axis. If it is, then &The x-axis has to create a perpendicular bisector &with AD, BE, and CF.

If the x-axis is perpendicular to AE, BD, and CF these segments will be vertical, thus forming a 90^(∘) angle with the x-axis which is horizontal.

We have established that AD, BE, and CF are perpendicular to the x-axis. Let's also determine if the segments are bisected, cut in half, by the x-axis.

Since the x-axis bisects the segments AD, BE, and CF, the coordinate plane shows a reflection in the x-axis.
