We can immediately rule out a reflection in the x-axis as this would bring an image above the x-axis if the preimage is below the x-axis. However, it could be a reflection in the y-axis. If it is, then &The y-axis has to create a perpendicular bisector &with AD, BE, and CF.

If the y-axis is perpendicular to AD, BE, and CF these segments will be horizontal which forms a 90^(∘) angle with the y-axis which is vertical.

We have established that AD, BE, and CF are perpendicular to the y-axis. Let's also determine if the segments are bisected, cut in half, by the y-axis.

Since the y-axis bisects the segments AD, BE, and CF, the coordinate plane shows a reflection in the y-axis.
