    Finding the Axis of Symmetry

    Determining the Vertex

    The value of c tells us that the parabola has the same shape as f(x)=3x^2 but it is translated 6 units up. Since the vertex of f(x)=3x^2 is at the origin, the vertex of f(x)=3x^2+6 is at (0,6).

    Making the Table of Values
