The Multiplication Property of Square Roots tells us that sqrt(a) * sqrt(b)=sqrt(ab), for a≥ 0 and b≥ 0.
2sqrt(3)x
We want to simplify a radical expression.
To do so we will assume that x ≥ 0, otherwise the given expression would not be defined.
sqrt(6x)* sqrt(2x)
sqrt(a)*sqrt(b)=sqrt(a* b)
Split into factors
a* a=a^2
sqrt(a* b)=sqrt(a)*sqrt(b)
sqrt(a^2)=a
