To find the volume scale factor between the solids, we have to divide the volume of the bigger solid with the volume of the smaller solid. volume scale factor=702/26=27 The volume scale factor is 27. Note that the volume scale factor is the same thing as the cube of the linear scale factor. With this information we can find the linear scale factor.
Volume scale factor=27
(Linear scale factor)^3=27
Linear scale factor=3
The linear scale factor is 3, which matches option C.
