When a conditional statement and its converse are both true, you can write it as a single biconditional statement.
An angle is a right angle if and only the angle's measure is 90^(∘).
p if and only if q.We have been given both a hypothesis and a conclusion of a true statement.
p&=An angle is a right angle q&=The angle's measure is $90^(∘)$ Using deductive reasoning, we know that both the conditional statement and converse is true. Therefore, we can write this as a biconditional statement. Biconditional statement An angle is a right angle if and only if the angle's measure is $90^(∘)$.
