If you use the definition of something, like a triangle, you can write a statement that is true and false.

True: If an angle is between 0^(∘) and 90^(∘), then it is an acute angle.
False: If an angle is between 0^(∘) and 90^(∘), then it is a right angle.

Practice makes perfect
To write a statement that is true, we can use the definition of an acute angle. It states that an acute angle is between 0^(∘) and 90^(∘).

If an angle is between $0^(∘)$ and $90^(∘)$, then it is an acute angle. Using that same definition, we can write a statement that is false. If an angle is between $0^(∘)$ and $90^(∘)$, then it is a right angle.
