Changing the order of the terms does not change the sum.

Commutative Property of Addition.

To identify the Property of Real Numbers illustrated by the given equation, we should first identify the operation being performed. -10 +4 = 4+(-10) In this case, the terms are being added. The equation shows that changing the order of the terms being added does not change the sum. This is the Commutative Property of Addition.
-10 +4 = 4+(-10)
-6=-6
