To solve the equation, we have to isolate r on one side. Using the Multiplication Property of Equality, we will multiply both sides of the equation by 187. This will eliminate the division on the left-hand side.

r ÷ 187 = 9

LHS * 187=RHS* 187

r ÷ 187 * 187 = 9 * 187

Multiply

r = 1683
