Let's take the mean of the two endpoints. 3 + 9/2 = 6 As we can see, 6 is the midpoint between 3 and 9.

b Like in Part A, we want to find the midpoint of a given line segment.

Let's take the mean of the two endpoints. -1 + 7/2 = 3 The midpoint of -1 and 7 is 3.

c Let's find the midpoint of the final segment.

Let's find the mean of -15 and 2. -15 + 2/2 = -6.5 We found that -6.5 is the midpoint between -15 and 2.
