We want to write an exponential function represented by the given table. To do so, let's calculate the increase in the x-values and the ratio between consecutive y-values.

The y-values change by a factor of 0.2 as x increases by 1. Moreover, note that when x=0, we have that y=- 50. This means the y-intercept is - 50. We have enough information to write the exponential function. y= - 50( 0.2)^x
