Practice makes perfect
In 2015, a world record was set for the number of baked beans eaten in one minute using chopsticks. Cherry was able to eat 71 beans. The number of beans b eaten by all previous competitors for this prestigious title can be written as an inequality.

0≤ b< 71 Our lower bound is 0 in the case that some unlucky soul experienced stage fright and dropped his chopsticks before being able to eat any beans. Now, let's assume that each bowl of baked beans set out for the contestants in the bean eating showdown contained 100 beans. This means that Cherry ate 71 %, or 0.71 of her bean bowl. Previous competitors were able to skillfully devour less than 71 % of their bean bowls, giving us another inequality. 0≤ b< 0.71
