An equation in point-slope form follows a specific format. y- y_1= m(x- x_1) In this format, m represents the slope and the point ( x_1, y_1) lies on the graph of the line. We are given the point ( 3, -4) and the slope 6, so we have everything we need to create a point-slope form equation.
y-y_1=m(x-x_1)
y-( -4)= 6(x- 3)
y+4=6(x-3)
