We want to find the difference $\stackrel{\rightharpoonup }{d}-\stackrel{\rightharpoonup }{f}.$ To do so we can use the Triangle Method. First, we will draw $\text{-}\stackrel{\rightharpoonup }{f}$ and translate it so that it touches the tip of $\stackrel{\rightharpoonup }{d}.$

Now, we will draw the resultant vector from the tail of $\stackrel{\rightharpoonup }{d}$ to the tip of $\text{-}\stackrel{\rightharpoonup }{f}.$
