We name a ray by combining the name of the endpoint with the name of any point lying on the ray, and draw an arrow over the new name. Notice that the diagram contains one ray, the one with points C, D, and E. We can name it CD or CE.

A line can be expressed as a ray by defining one point on the line as an endpoint. In the diagram we also have two lines. Thus, two possible rays are as follows.
