A line segment is any part of a line that consists of two endpoints and all of the points between them. There are five points on the horizontal line. Let's take the point P and write the name of each segment that has it as an endpoint.

We can do the same process with the remaining points. Since the order of the endpoints in the name are arbitrary, be careful not to list the same segment multiple times.
