The product of any nonzero real number and its reciprocal is 1. x*1/x=1The reciprocal of a fraction is the inverse of that fraction. x/y*y/x=1 This means that the reciprocal of 115 is 151. Let's check that this is true by calculating the product.

1/15* 15/1? =1

Multiply fractions

1* 15/15* 1? =1

Identity Property of Multiplication

15/15? =1

a/a=1

1=1 ✓

The product of these two fractions is equal to 1 so we can be sure that 151 is a reciprocal of 115. Notice that we can also rewrite 151 as a number 15.
