Describing Rotations

To rotate the figure $180^\circ$ counterclockwise about $P,$ we will pay close attention to its vertices.

We will begin by rotating vertex $C.$ To do so, we will first draw a segment from $C$ to $P.$ Then, we will draw another segment from $P$ to the image of $C$ such that they are congruent and they form a straight angle.

Similarly, we will rotate the other vertices.

Finally, we will connect the rotated vertices to draw the image.
