With Mathleaks, you can find solutions to exercises in your textbooks as well as Mathleaks’ own original eCourses.

You can study using Mathleaks eCourses free of charge on the web, from a mobile device or on your computer. All math content is aligned with the Common Core standards. You will find theory, examples, and exercises with accompanying answers, hints, and solutions – everything is gathered in one, easy-to-use location.

All of this comes with several innovative functions such as clickable links for explanations of rules and concepts, interactive graphs and figures to help you better visualize the math, and connections between your math book and the Mathleaks eCourses.

The free Standard Access Version grants you access to the theory pages and examples found in Mathleaks eCourses for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. By subscribing to Mathleaks Premium, you gain additional access to our textbook solutions as well as solutions to the exercises found in the Mathleaks eCourses. You can subscribe to Premium here on the website.

You may want more support and time with your teacher than is available, or you might want to study on your own without getting stuck. It’s possible that your current textbooks and classroom lessons make this difficult. 

Students should be able to manage their studies effectively while not having to spend more time than necessary. As a rule, students shouldn’t need to contact their teachers or use expensive homework aids to keep from getting behind in their studies.

They should have access to quality study material that is supplemented with current technology. The lack of such available resources means that students waste time, lose confidence, and often need to hire expensive tutors. Many students think that they cannot do math and give up. This isn’t true!

Mathleaks eCourses are the only math training material that has theory, examples, and step-by-step solutions that include calculations, explanations, and interactive images and graphs that illustrate the math being learned. And best of all, Mathleaks eCourses are directly linked to high school textbooks. This allows students to study both with their textbooks and with Mathleaks eCourses, which gives them more training material – all aligned to the Common Core.

Yes. Textbooks have limited learning capabilities and are expensive. They also do not take advantage of modern technology – they follow the curriculum but give limited support to students’ studies. Our eCourses are complete with theory, examples, and exercises with answers, hints, and solutions.

Self-tests are also included, so you can check your progress and knowledge of the material. They are available on computers, phones, and tablets, and can be printed if physical copies are desired. Mathleaks eCourses can be used offline, so even when you have a limited internet connection, you can still study.

Mathleaks eCourses are available for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. Pre-Algebra eCourses will be released in September 2022, Pre-calculus will be available in Winter of 2022, and Calculus will be released in September 2023.

Begin by watching the films in the intro, then study with theory, examples, exercises with solutions, and self-tests for all sub-chapters – all in accordance with the Common Core. It is advised that you use your textbook as a complement to the Mathleaks eCourses and not the other way around, since the eCourses will give you more support in your math studies.

Math is based on understanding and logical reasoning. Our solutions are more than something you just write or memorize, they are something you read through and think about. That is why we include explanations, theory, and alternative solutions in our materials.

There is research that supports the benefits of studying with worked examples such as solutions. John Sweller developed the theory of cognitive load – how much memory is used when studying – and has concluded that cognitive load is high for common problem solving. High cognitive load means that memory is heavily loaded when problem solving takes place, and therefore you need more time to store the information you studied. This limits learning capacity! Problem solving while allowing students to study with solutions increases students’ learning capacity, which allows students to learn more effectively. Read about the research here. 

Yes. Students’ mathematical skills are largely developed during their own work while practicing and solving exercises. When practicing, you don’t want to get stuck. Today’s textbooks usually only have an answer at the back of the book, and if you don’t know how to do the math, only having the answer isn’t helpful.

Mathleaks focuses on pedagogy and places importance on explaining the way forward to the answer. Exercises in Mathleaks eCourses are divided into four levels with increasing difficulty.

Each level has several exercises with answers, hints, and solutions. Our solutions for both textbooks and Mathleaks eCourses are self-instructional, which means that students can study without getting stuck. A study at a high school in Sweden showed that of students who had studied with Mathleaks solutions, around 40% had better test scores than those who had not.

The same textbook often has several different editions with small variations between them. This may involve changed numerical values, altered data, and sometimes additional information that could change the numbering of the exercises.

Make sure to check the edition via the book selection page in the Mathleaks app. If you find that the app does not match the book you are using, please inform us so that we can correct it.

Textbook solutions and eCourses for Pre-algebra will be released in September 2022, Precalculus in Winter of 2022, and Calculus will be released in September 2023.

Manage your login to Mathleaks. If you created your account with Google or Facebook registration, you will have no password for Mathleaks. You can only reset passwords to accounts created on Mathleaks with your registered email address and password.

Automatic renewal of a started subscription must be canceled at least 24 hours before a new period begins and payment is made. If you subscribe via the website and want to cancel the account, do so via the following link.

We do not have mandatory subscription lengths for our services and they can be terminated at any time. Note that all subscription types are renewed automatically until you choose to cancel.

Access to paid subscription services will last until the end of the subscription period you have chosen and paid for, despite cancellation before the end of that period.

Log in to your account via the eCourses page using the log in button in the upper right corner. After logging in, click on the account icon and select the menu item “Manage School Code.” Enter and activate your code.
