In this case, we need to start by using the Distributive Property to simplify the left- and right-hand sides of the equation.
1/7(14-7p)-2=-2(1/2p+3)+6
2-p-2=-2(1/2p+3)+6
2-p-2=- p-6+6
- p = - p
p=p
Simplifying the equation resulted in an identity. Thus, the equation has infinitely many solutions.
