a Let's begin with recalling that if a quadrilateral is a parallelogram, then its opposite sides are congruent. We can highlight this on the given parallelogram.

As we can see, SP is opposite to RQ, and SR is opposite to PQ in this parallelogram. Therefore, these are pairs of sides of the same length. SP=RQ and SR=PQ

b We will start with recalling that if a quadrilateral is a parallelogram, then its consecutive angles are supplementary. Let's mark the angles in the picture. Notice that in parallelogram opposite angles are congruent.

As we can see, ∠ P and ∠ Q are consecutive angles, and ∠ S and ∠ R are consecutive angles in this parallelogram. Therefore, these pairs of angles are supplementary angles.
