In the previous exercise, we first used a histogram to display each data set since it displays frequencies in intervals. From these histograms, we can see that the data trends are very similar between the Male and Female Populations.
As a second method of displaying the data, since each interval can also be seen as a different category, we used a bar graph. Additionally, it allows us to compare each interval by gender. Looking at the bar graph, we can see that the last three groups are greater for females while the first two groups are greater for males.
One possible conclusion that we can make is that it appears that men are born at a higher frequency than women but that women live longer. Please note that this is only one conclusion out of many possibilities.
