Traveling to the point (3,165) from the point (1,55) requires that we move 2 steps horizontally in the positive direction and 110 steps vertically in the positive direction. rise/run=110/2=55 ⇔ m= 55 The slope of 55 tells us that the number of words increases by 55 each minute.
