To use the Distributive Property in reverse, we have to find the greatest common factor (GCF) between the terms. 30x&= 2 *3 * 5 * x 40 &= 2 * 2 * 2 * 5In this case, the GCF is the product of the common prime factors. 2 * 5 = 10 Let's factor out the GCF for our expression.
