According to the Incenter Theorem, the incenter of a triangle is equidistant from its sides. Therefore, NU, NV, and NT have equal lengths. NU=NV=NT Since we are given the expression for the lengths of NU and NV, we can equate them to solve for x.

NU=NV

-3 = x
x=- 3

Finally, we can calculate the lengths of any of the segments by substituting the value of x into either of the given expressions. NU:& -3( -3)+6 =15 NV:& -5( -3) =15 Because both of these segments have a length of 15, we know NT does as well.
