We are given the following cylinder and we want to find its volume.

The volume of a cylinder with the radius r and height h can be calculated by the following formula. V=π r^2 h In this case, we are given the diameter and the height of the cylinder, we know that the radius of the cylinder is the half of the diameter. r = diameter/2 ⇒ r=5/2 Here, we find that r= 52m and we are given the height h=6m. Now we can substitute them into the formula and calculate V.

V=π r^2 h
