We are given the following cylinder, and we want to find its volume.

The volume of a cylinder with the radius r and height h can be calculated by the following formula. V=π r^2 h In this case, we are given the diameter and the height of the cylinder, we know that the radius of the cylinder is the half of the diameter. r = diameter/2 ⇒ r=4/2=2 Here, we find that r=2 cm and we are given the height h=10 cm. Now we can substitute them into the formula and calculate V.

V=Ï€ r^2 h
V=Ï€( 2)^2 ( 10)

V=40Ï€
V=125.663706...
