To calculate the square root of something, you raise it to the power of 12.

Push GRAPH to draw the functions. Make sure the window settings are set so the graph will be visible. This can be done from the WINDOW menu.
We can see that there is one point of intersection. To find this point, we can use the intersect
option. Push 2nd and TRACE, then choose the list's fifth option, intersect
. Now we have to select the two graphs and provide the calculator with a guess of where the intersection might be.
