We want to use a table to solve the given equation. 7d+7=14 In order to choose a good starting point for our table, let's pretend that the equation is 7d=14. What multiplied by 7 would get us close to 14? The answer is 2, so let's try it in our table. We should also try substituting surrounding numbers, in this case 3 and 1, just to be on the safe side.
