Rectangle

A rectangle is a parallelogram with four right angles. This means that the opposite sides are parallel and have the same length. The rectangle's longer sides are usually referred to as its length l and the shorter sides as its width w.

The area of a rectangle is equal to the product of its dimensions. The diagonals of a rectangle are congruent.

A square is rectangle with four equal side lengths.
