Digits are characters that are used to create numbers. In modern mathematical expressions, the ten Arabic numerals are most commonly used. $\text{0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9}$ These characters represent different values depending on how many are present, how they are combined, and in which position of a number they are placed. For example, combining the digits $5$ and $6$ can form two different numbers, $56$ and $65.$
