Population Sample
A group of objects from which we collect data. A part of population.

We can use different sampling methods but it is important to choose a sample that is representative.

Representative Sample

A sample that has the same characteristics as the population.

There are multiple ways in which we can determine a representative sample. The most reliable way is to generate a random sample.
