9^3

Practice makes perfect
We are given a numeric expression, and want to write an equivalent expression. 9^7/9^4 Notice that this expression is the quotient of two powers with the same base. Therefore, we can use the Quotient of Powers Property. This property states that when dividing two exponential expressions with the same base, we subtract the exponents.
9^7/9^4
9^(7-4)
9^3
Please note we have only shown one of many possible equivalent expressions.
