Consider the Converse of the Base Angles Theorem.
If ∠ TRV ≅ ∠ TVR then TR ≅ TV.
The statement ∠ TRV ≅ ∠ TVR tells us that theses angles are congruent. Let's mark that in our diagram.
According to the Converse of the Base Angles Theorem, if two angles of a triangle are congruent, then the sides opposite them are congruent.
